A 56-year-old woman was seriously injured while skiing in Lech (Vorarlberg) on Tuesday. She had collided with an unknown winter sportsman while getting off the chairlift.

This is what happened in Lech on Tuesday morning: A 56-year-old woman rode up the mountain with her daughter (26) on the six-seater chairlift “Hasensprungbahn”, while another skier and her companion sat next to the duo.
When disembarking at the mountain station, the unknown winter athlete suddenly crossed the path of the mother-daughter team – there was a collision, in which the 56-year-old fell and crashed so unluckily that she was seriously injured. Naturally, the stranger did not care much – she and her companion quickly fled.
Search for skier
The Lech police are now looking for the fugitive skier. According to the person’s description, she should be between 30 and 40 years old, her build was described as tall and athletic. At the time of the accident, she was wearing a mint-colored ski suit.
