A man was recently charged with rape in Graz. He is said to have passed on a drunken, completely defenseless Styrian woman. Her severe injuries exposed the perpetrator. The sentence is two years in prison.
A Styrian woman drank several glasses of wine, beer and Bacardi Cola at a party. Then the village DJ saw his chance. “The suspect recognized the victim’s serious impairment of consciousness and decided to take advantage of it,” prosecutor Cornelia Koller said at the trial in Graz.
He took the helpless woman to his room above the disco and brutally attacked the Taurus, who was barely conscious and seriously injured.
Massive injuries
When the young woman awoke the next day, she fled, distraught, and confided in her family. This informed the police. Subsequent investigations revealed massive injuries.
The suspect pleaded guilty to touching the Styrian, but he denied rape. The (not final) verdict: two years in prison, of which he must serve eight months.
