Memories that are deeply anchored in the memory of Franz Bruckmoser – although the moments were 80 years ago. “You can’t forget such a thing,” says the pensioner. On May 4, 1945, the Second World War ended in Salzburger Boden with the invasion of the American troops. Bruckmoser was a nine -year -old schoolboy at the time. “I still have the whistle of the grenades and their consequences in my ear today,” he says.
