Early on Friday afternoon, a 77-year-old driver from the Weiz district was driving on the L 361 from Lingstätten towards Puch bei Weiz. According to police, she then lost control of her vehicle in the Klettendorf-Ost district, overturned it and ended up on the passenger side.
A neighbor called emergency services and the woman was taken to Weiz State Hospital with minor injuries. An alcohol test was negative.
The circumstances remain mysterious: the woman was probably not driving particularly fast and no other road user was involved. There are no witnesses. “The woman says she has no memories and does not know at all how it happened,” police said.
