A tragic traffic accident took place in the German Weißensberg (Lindau district) on Friday. Two Vorarlbergers (38, 40) were killed.
The two – apparently from the Bregenz region – ended up in the opposite lane with a minibus for unknown reasons and, according to media reports, collided head-on with a truck. All help came too late for both of them. They died at the scene of the accident.
Truck driver slightly injured
Fortunately, the truck driver was only slightly injured. It is still unclear why the accident happened. Kempten’s public prosecutor’s office has commissioned an expert to clarify the exact course of the accident.
