At the beginning of December last year, another swan was mistreated or killed in Vienna-Donaustadt. This time, a severed swan wing has been discovered on Danube Island. Police are currently investigating unknown persons and asking for information.
According to the police, at least one swan was mistreated or killed between 3 and 4 December last year. Observant witnesses made the horrific discovery in the Brigittenau Bay area and immediately alerted emergency services. The animal itself could no longer be found. A battered swan was previously found in the same place.
Grill and eat the swan
In the summer of last year, a swan was assaulted by an animal abuser in the Brigitteneau Bay area. After capturing and brutally killing the animal, he even wanted to grill and eat it. When that apparently failed, the dead animal was thrown into a garbage can. There is no trace of him either.
