The negotiating meeting for the Bizkaia metal deal brokered by the Basque government that was due to take place this Friday has been postponed to Monday the 30th, participants’ sources have informed EFE.
The trade union representatives, the Biscayan Federation of Metalworkers (FVEM) and the Basque government held the second meeting in Bilbao last Monday, the 23rd, mediated by the executive, which put forward a proposal that was still insufficient for the parties.
The unions and employers promised to continue working to bring positions closer together and will meet again next Monday.
