Police officers in Vienna-Meidling found a bloodied man (30) in a stairwell on Tuesday afternoon after loud cries for help were heard from an apartment.
The man in the stairwell was unharmed. When police arrived at the apartment, they found a second man (30) stabbed in the back. He was immediately taken to hospital and his life is no longer in danger.

The unharmed man is suspected of attacking his colleagues with a knife. The victim is already doing so well that he will be questioned on Wednesday. The alleged perpetrator was temporarily arrested by order of the public prosecutor’s office and taken to a prison.
