The Vorarlberg police found an entire arsenal of weapons in the home of a 46-year-old man in Feldkirch (Vorarlberg) on Monday. Among other things, the “gun enthusiast” had collected several prohibited firearms – some even modified ones.
During the house search, the agents of the Cobra task force must have felt at home like James Bond. For example, they found a CO2 gun modified to fire real ammunition or a ballpoint pen that can fire real cartridges.
The Feldkircher was under an outright ban on weapons. That didn’t stop the 46-year-old, who describes himself as a “firearms enthusiast”, from indulging his passion within his own four walls.
Report is refunded
According to the police, the man behaved cooperatively during the search. The police operation therefore proceeded without complications. The 46-year-old will soon receive a report from the prosecutor’s office in Feldkirch.
