A student teacher from Graz is under investigation for drug trafficking and illegal possession of weapons. Nevertheless, she worked at a primary school in Graz. Now consequences have been drawn.
Sometimes people fall in the wrong circles. This is likely what happened to a Graz teacher academy (23) who was released from custody at Graz-Jakomini Prison last fall. The story behind it makes for great explosives!
Apartment used as a warehouse for weapons and drugs
After all, the 23-year-old is being investigated for drug trafficking and illegal possession of weapons, the prosecutor’s office in Graz confirms to ‘Krone’. Together with seven men and three other women, she is said to have started a lively drug trade.
The illegal activities happened during a traffic check by the police. In the driver’s car, the officers found a large amount of cannabis, which the man had bought in a nearby parking lot on Liebenauer Hauptstrasse. Shortly afterwards, in August of the previous year, intensive investigation led to a spectacular attack, including the use of Cobra in the apartment of the said student, where not only she but also four other men were arrested. There would even have been injured officers.
Treated with 60 kilograms of cannabis
Stun guns, batons, pistols, brass knuckles, stilettos, balaclavas, several kilograms of cannabis, cash, drug paraphernalia – this is just a fragment of what was found in the four walls of the Graz woman. In total, eleven people between the ages of 18 and 30 ended up behind bars at least temporarily. With at least 60 kilograms of cannabis, they would have started a lively drug trade. The investigation against the gang is currently ongoing.
What further fuels the story about the woman: in custody she would have given all people beautiful eyes “Bubi-Bomber” (24) – the Viennese who planned attacks from Karlau in Graz and offered bomb-building plans. After her release, she continued to work in the afternoon shelter at a primary school in Graz despite ongoing investigations. She also offers her services as a nanny through an online platform.
“The allegations are extreme”
The office of Councilor Kurt Hohensinner (ÖVP), who is responsible for education, was aware of the 23-year-old’s detention. The true scope of the allegations was not learned from the “Krone” until Wednesday. “The situation changed abruptly with this information. The accusations are, of course, extreme. We have now acted and paid her off duty effective immediately.
We would like to enter into joint discussions with the judiciary in the future. It is hoped that information will be obtained on surveys of staff working in primary education, kindergarten or school, so that appropriate action can be taken.
