The President of Cantabria, Miguel Ángel Revilla, and the Lehendakari, Iñigo Urkullu, will hold a meeting in Vitoria-Gasteiz on February 27 to “give impetus” to the fast train project between Santander and Bilbao.

Revilla announced this on Friday, taking advantage of a visit to castro urdialesa municipality that, as he said, will benefit from this train because “certainly” – he said – will stop there.

As for his next meeting with Urkullu, which will take place within the framework of the meeting of the Atlantic Arc Commissionhas assured Revilla that both are “a pineapple so that this train exists”.

“I have this train between my eyebrows and we are going to have it,” said the Cantabrian president, who assured that this connection, which has the support of the government of Spain – he is conducting the informative study – “will radically change in Cantabria, Santander and of course Castro”.

“That is thinking about the future and about works that completely transform a territory, a population and create wealth,” Revilla said, as reported in a statement from the regional government.
