A young man was killed in a car accident in the Oberpullendorf district on Saturday evening. The car left the roadway on a left turn and rolled over. Another inmate was injured and taken to Wiener Neustadt State Hospital.
The police announced this in a broadcast on Sunday. It is still unclear which of the two young men, born in 2004 and 2005, drove the car. It is certain that a car left the L 226 road between Lackenbach and Ritzing at around 7:45 p.m. on Saturday.
The car overturned and stopped in a meadow after almost 90 meters.
Passengers thrown from car
Both occupants from the Oberpullendorf district were thrown from the car. One died, the other was injured and taken to Wiener Neustadt State Hospital. It is not yet known why the car left the road.
