In front of the police, a 26-year-old attacked the employee of a security company in the center of Graz on Tuesday evening. The background to the fact is unknown. The man who also attacked the uniformed men had to be temporarily arrested.
The incident happened around 8 p.m. in the carnival mile on Graz’s Farberplatz. The 26-year-old was seen by police officers on the scene when he hit a security service employee in the face with his fist. When de Grazer was confronted by the officials, he went berserk.
The arrest was lifted in the evening
His arrest was only possible with the considerable physical strength of the police officers. Late in the evening the arrest was lifted and the carnival madman was released.
