A fire broke out in a residential building in Lauterach (Vorarlberg) on Friday. An eight-year-old girl suffered serious injuries, the other family members probably survived the fire unscathed.
A fire broke out in a single-family home in Lauterach on Friday at 1:40 p.m. due to an unknown cause. The house is inhabited by a family – three children, parents and grandparents. The family was also present in the building at the time of the fire. One of the children, an eight-year-old girl, was seriously injured in the fire and had to be flown by rescue helicopter to Bregenz state hospital.
The other family members probably survived the fire unharmed or only slightly injured. The family was at least partially removed from the house by the alerted police. The fire has now been extinguished.
