The Rock Imperium festival in Cartagena will almost double its capacity

The organization of the event announces an expansion of the space and a reorganization of the stages

The Rock Imperium festival, to be held June 23-25 at Cartagena’s El Batel Park, will be “almost doubled in space” compared to what was originally planned. The promoter Madness Live announced this Friday that “thanks to the invaluable cooperation of the City Council of Cartagena”, it will benefit from a significant expansion that will “improve the festival experience” and facilitate the movement of visitors.

The situation of the scenarios is adjusted to make better use of the space of the site, which grows “crossways”, including part of the road. The main stages will be moved back and the VIP area will be relocated, as will the toilets, catering and ‘merchandising’ stands, which will be where the festival’s third stage would so far be.

For its part, the third leg will be moved to a large tent in the UPCT parking lot. There will also be a shaded restaurant area, another bar, toilets and a market area. This extension of the fence will be connected to El Batel Park via a walkway that will allow walking over the wall, eliminating the need to enter and exit the facilities. However, this new area will also have an additional entrance.

On January 25, Madness Live announced that 60% of its capacity has already been sold. The Rock Imperium Festival’s main attractions are the exclusive national concerts of KISS, on their last date in Spain before hanging up their boots, Skid Row, Deep Purple, Europe and The Winery Dogs.
