Probably an unknown Friday evening in Pribelsdorf near Eberndorf in Carinthia shot a deer in the head – even during the closed season. The Eberndorf police are asking for useful information.
The dead doe was found the next day on a path next to the railway line between Mittlern station and the level crossing in Pribelsdorf. Investigations so far have shown that the animal was killed with a larger caliber weapon.
Due to the fact that there is currently a closed season and no trophies or venison are missing from the hunted game, it is currently believed that foreign hunting rights are being violated.
