A Viennese arranged a sex and drug date via Snapchat with two much younger girls from Lower Austria (14 and 18 years old). But they took four violent men to the arranged meeting at his apartment in the city center. The sextet had a predatory plan.
“Why didn’t you tell your cousin it was a stupid idea?” Judge Alexandra Skrdla asks one of the six defendants in the Vienna Regional Court. “Because I was drunk and bored,” was the surprising response. His cousin was only 14 that August night.
“We Wanted the Cocaine”
The girl met an older man through Snapchat. “I have coke, you sleep with me for that,” the Viennese offered the Lower Austrian and her 18-year-old boyfriend. “We didn’t want sex. But we wanted the cocaine.”
With a robbery plan in their luggage, the young people drove to Vienna. They entered the apartment while her cousin and three of his friends waited downstairs.
Victim seriously injured in face robbery
Moments later, the men knocked on the door: “They came in, punched me in the face and held me down,” the victim recalled. It wasn’t until he told them where the cocaine was that they released the bloodied, wounded waiter.
The sextet, some of whom had criminal records, fled with drugs and cash. The sentence for the 14-year-old: 18 months, six of which are absolute. For their accomplices, it is up to five years in prison, some of which are legally binding.
