A family from Carinthia mourns their dog and is shocked. The Terrier-Maltese dog “Bella”, who escaped from Spittal an der Drau a few days ago, was found dead in a rubbish bin.
“Our ‘Bella’ is dead. She was just thrown dead in a garbage can by an unknown person,” reports the shocked mistress. A distant neighbor made the terrifying discovery Tuesday when she went to throw out her own rubbish. She alerted the police. “The little puppy must have been run over and then just heartlessly thrown in the trash,” police said.
Was only six months old
The only six-month-old Terrier-Maltese bitch escaped from Ponauer Straße in Spittal an der Drau on February 24. Despite an immediate search, the dog remained missing.
„What kind of world is this?“
‘Wednesday we can pick up our Bella from the police. We’ll bury her in our garden. We are all shocked by such heartlessness. What kind of world is this,’ says the mistress on the verge of crying. The Spittal an der Drau police are now asking for useful information.
