The exit of a Swiss driver in Vorarlberg went very badly: he ended up in a ditch – through no fault of his own.
On Tuesday around 3.10 pm, a man living in Switzerland drove his car on the L41 from Lustenau towards Wolfurt. Due to a moment of inattention, the 70-year-old driver lost control of his car and left the track on the right. As a result, he drove into the local Riedgraben.
The driver suffered unknown injuries in the accident. After first aid from the emergency doctor, he was taken to Dornbirn Regional Hospital for further treatment by the rescue team. The car was damaged to an unknown extent. It had to be removed from the ditch by a towing company.
