Are our farmers the electricity suppliers of the future?

Agriculture is also undergoing a change in relation to the energy transition. Organic farmer Sepp Aberger harnesses the power of the sun and can now power other households. In the new farm series “Hofleb’n” by “Krone”, he explains why he chose this and why he relies so heavily on renewable energy.

Sepp Aberger takes completely new steps in running his farm in Kuchling near Maria Saal in Carinthia. “Five years ago, we converted our company to organic, partly for health reasons,” says the family man, who switched from intensive bull fattening to suckler cow farming with ox and calf fattening. The farm is run as an independent farm.
