Two unknown perpetrators stole the daily slogan from a tobacco shop in Villach on Friday afternoon. The tobacconist was distracted by one of the thieves.
Two unknown men had entered the tobacconist’s shop in Villach around 4:30 p.m. While one of the perpetrators distracted the tobacco shop and started a conversation with him, the second man sneaked into the office behind the sales counter, stole the day ticket worth more than 2000 euros and disappeared through the back door.
It was not until the second offender had left the tobacco shop that the owner noticed the theft and alerted the police.
The performance was captured on a video camera. Further investigations are underway. The men must have known each other.
