A total of seven people were injured in a collision between two cars in St. Lorenzen am Wechsel (District Hartberg-Fürstenfeld) in Styria on Sunday night.
Shortly before midnight, a 33-year-old was driving with her husband (52) and daughter (12) on the L 405 from Rohrbach an der Lafnitz towards Vorau. At the same time, a 16-year-old driver was driving in the opposite direction with two young women (17 and 18) and a 19-year-old friend. According to the police, the accident happened suddenly at an intersection between Waldbacherstrasse and Vorauerstrasse for an initially unknown cause.

All occupants from the Hartberg-Fürstenfeld district were able to free themselves from the accident cars before the fire brigade arrived. The drivers and their passengers sustained unknown injuries in the accident. After first aid, they were taken to the LKH Oberwart. It turned out that the 16-year-old driver did not have a driver’s license.
