A drunk driver lost control of his car early Sunday morning in Andelsbuch and crashed into a railway line. The young man ended up in the hospital and his car ended up in a junkyard.
With a blood alcohol level of 1.2, the Bregenzerwald got into his car around 5 a.m. after a night of drinking, but he was not supposed to go home. Ironically, on the glamorous “garbage collection curve” in Andelsbuch, he lost control of his car, which then crashed into the forest railway below.

Despite several injuries, the man managed to free himself from the completely demolished wreckage and call for help. The rescuers took him to the city hospital in Dornbirn.
