The police carried out checks on Tuesday between 08:00 and 16:00 at the Witzelsberg A2 rest area in Scheiblingkirchen.
Dozens of ads
During the checks, 15 complaints were submitted about missing snow chains, six about overloading the truck, 33 under the Motor Vehicles Act and one each under the General Social Security Act and the Foreign Nationals Employment Act. 13 deposits of approximately 5,000 euros were collected and a balance sheet was drawn up.
No child seat
However, one truck in particular stood out: there were three people in the driver’s cab. The driver in the driver’s seat, his brother was a passenger. However, the driver’s three-year-old daughter was sitting on the floor of the driver’s cab between the two men. Child seat? no. The further journey was therefore prohibited.
