The main European stock markets rise early in the morning, after the interest rate increase by the European Central Bank (ECB).

In the early stages of the day, the IBEX 35, the main indicator of the Madrid Stock Exchange, is trading at 8,963.9 points after adding 0.83%. Cumulative profit for the year rises to 8.53%.

The Frankfurt stock exchange is up 0.61%.

On a day when the financial sector will continue to be the focus of investors’ attention, the market also awaits the release of the euro area CPI for February, while the OECD will publish its interim report on the economic outlook.
