Serious accident in East Tyrol on Tuesday morning! The street cleaning on Felbertauernstraße near Ainet killed a driver (59). He crashed into a road maintenance truck. Two people were injured in the accident.
The accident happened around 8:20 p.m. The road maintenance vehicle, driven by a 41-year-old man, was driving a sweeper. Apparently so much dust was raised that the next car driver (59) could no longer see anything and crashed his car into the back of the truck.
Car ready for the junkyard
The 59-year-old and his passenger (67) were seriously injured. Both men had to be hospitalized. The car was a total loss. The road maintenance vehicle was also heavily damaged.
