Terrible accident on Schärdinger Strasse in the Sachsenberg area on Saturday around 3:20 am. A 22-year-old driver from Münzkirchen drove towards Stöbichen. At the same time, a 49-year-old pedestrian from Wernstein was walking in the same direction on the right side of the road.
Fatal crash
Then the terrible accident happened: for reasons that are still unclear, the driver hit the passerby, causing the 49-year-old to land on the windshield of the car. He sustained serious injuries in the serious collision and was taken to the Passau Clinic.
A possible reason for the serious accident: the 22-year-old driver involved in the accident found the mandatory alcohol test to be 2.06 promille. His driver’s license was taken from him.
