A 17-year-old boy was trapped between the fronts in Vienna on Saturday afternoon and was injured. A heated argument had broken out between his parents in the Donaustadt district, when the youngster tried to settle it, the suspected 45-year-old went completely mad, grabbed a knife and held it to his son’s neck.
The couple’s argument broke out around 3:30 p.m. The drunk – an alcohol test should later come out at 2.86 promille – initially had a heated discussion with his partner (43). When the teen became involved, a dangerous knife incident ensued. The 43-year-old managed to take the knife from the man. The suspect then made rude threats.
The police have provisionally arrested the alleged perpetrator. An approach and entry ban was issued, as well as a provisional ban on weapons. The suspect is being held by the police, the management said on Sunday.
