Due to a previously unknown cause, a 43-year-old Croat drove his car off the road on the A10 in Carinthia on Sunday evening, drove over an embankment and flipped over.
The accident happened just before 7 p.m. After about 200 meters the vehicle came to a stop on its wheels again near the embankment. In this traffic accident, the driver, who was able to free himself from the vehicle, and his passenger (34) suffered injuries of unknown seriousness. The two people involved in the accident were taken by ambulance to Spittal an der Drau hospital.

The Feistritz Drau and St. Peter fire brigades were deployed with 35 firefighters. After the Asfinag route service closed the first lane in cooperation with the police, the road was cleaned. The car involved in the accident was subsequently towed away by a towing company.
