It is not yet clear why the supervisor suddenly had to leave the 93-year-old’s apartment. According to the police, the pensioner suddenly grabbed a kitchen knife and allegedly tried to hit her household help in the head area with a stabbing motion.

Fortunately, the woman was able to fend off the attack with a cutting board. When the supervisor called for help, the assailant dropped the gun and left the kitchen. The police officers summoned took the woman to a doctor. The 93-year-old was transferred to a psychiatric ward.
After consultation with the public prosecutor’s office in Vienna, an oral arrest warrant was issued for attempted serious bodily harm with intent.
