On Tuesday and Wednesday, there were two occupational accidents with head injuries in Tyrol: a lorry driver fell off the loading platform in Kramsach and a worker in Erl was hit on the head by a pallet that fell from a height of ten metres.
Two workers each suffered head injuries in accidents in the Tiroler Unterland. In Kramsach (Kufstein district), a 50-year-old truck driver fell on the asphalt on Wednesday while unloading boxes from the loading area of the trailer. And in Erl, also in the Kufstein district, a pallet fell from a ten-meter-high carport roof on a 48-year-old on a construction site on Tuesday.
Both men have been taken to hospital
According to police, the 50-year-old truck driver was given first aid by witnesses and rescuers and taken to Schwaz hospital. The 48-year-old was in turn flown to the hospital in Kufstein with the emergency medical helicopter “Heli 4”. Another worker had noticed the accident earlier and started the rescue chain.
