Israel has killed a 20-year-old Palestinian in the occupied West Bank and has responded to rocket fire from Syria with ground and air strikes.
The escalation of tension between Palestine and Israel continues to grow as hundreds of Palestinians locked themselves in Al Aqsa Mosque, on the Esplanade of Jerusalem’s Mosques, this Saturday, refusing to leave the place during full Ramadan. In addition, the Israeli Defense Forces Palestinian protester shot dead in Azzun.

Al Aqsa to expel the Palestinians. Haman has warned that an eviction would “create more tension and violence and everyone would pay the price”.
For its part, a Hamas spokesman, Mohamed Hamadé, has warned that “the aggression of the occupation will have only the resistance as an answer and the resistance is ready to respond to the occupation crimes commensurate with the magnitude of the crime”.
The Esplanade of the Mosques is the religious heart of East Jerusalem and rests on one side on the Wailing Wall, the last remnant of the Jewish Temple of Solomon, for which reason Muslims fear that Israel will destroy the Al Aqsa Mosque (third holiest site in Islam) to build a Jewish Third Temple in Jerusalem.

These clashes were followed by a fierce firefight between Israel and Palestinian militias in both the Gaza Strip and the Gaza Strip South Lebanon.
