Saturday morning there was a violent argument between a couple on the open street in Vienna-Liesing. An observant witness immediately alerted the police after the 36-year-old suddenly punched his girlfriend (27) in the face.
The dispute escalated around 9 a.m. at a bus stop on Endressstrasse. When the alerted police officers arrived, the argument was still going on, after which they both separated to calm the situation. The 27-year-old suffered minor injuries in the attack.
The 36-year-old became increasingly aggressive
The 36-year-old was given an entry and approach ban and a provisional weapon ban. This made the 36-year-old even more aggressive and also approached the police. After being asked several times by police to calm down and continue anyway, the 36-year-old’s handcuffs clicked.
The suspect was set free. The interrogations of the two are still ongoing.
