The suspect only states that he slapped his ex-partner in the face. But she reports years of violence in the relationship. According to the public prosecutor, the Viennese robbed his own girlfriend.
The 40-year-old Wener is said to have made his partner’s life a living hell for four and a half years: countless blows, kicks and threats – he even knocked out a tooth of the victim.
Girlfriend had an affair
However, his lawyer Tassilo Wallentin says: “This is an act of revenge being carried out against him.” In January, the suspect found out that the woman also had a relationship with his good friend at the same time. They then allegedly made up these accusations together. In general, his former friend – he is the only witness in the proceedings – knocked out his ex’s tooth.
“I’ve never hit her in my life. I hit her in the face, but that’s it,” the Viennese pleads innocent. Followed by a reminder from the judge that a slap is a slap.
Wiener denies drug addiction
The OM accuses the 40-year-old of persistent violence and theft, among other things. The suspect repeatedly demanded money from the woman – including by force. She tells the police that the Viennese wanted to buy drugs and that he was heavily addicted. But he denied that in court.
The victim cannot comment on this at the Vienna Regional Court during the hearing – he is acutely ill. That is why it is postponed.
