In defense against Russian missile terror, Ukraine has received a new weapon from Germany, the Netherlands and the US. The US-made Patriot air defense system was delivered this week. The air defense system MIM-104 “Patriot” has been in use with the US and twelve allied user states since the mid-1980s: in addition to NATO member states such as Germany and Poland, there are also US allies in Asia (Taiwan, Japan) and the Central East (Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar) below. Weapons were promised to Ukraine in the winter when Russian missile terror paralyzed electricity and heating infrastructure in large parts of the country.
