An 18-year-old driver went off the road in Dünserberg (Vorarlberg) on ​​Thursday afternoon and fell about 100 meters from a steep meadow slope. The car was eventually catapulted from the edge of a meadow about 20 meters into the forest. The young man suffered serious injuries.

The young man was driving on the L73 towards Montanast at about 5.40pm when his car went off the road to the right. After driving over a demarcation post, the car slid some 100 meters down a steep meadow slope. It then fell over the edge of a meadow and was catapulted about 20 meters into the woods. The car came to a stop in the trees.

Two people who saw the accident rescued the 18-year-old from the vehicle. The emergency doctor treated him on the spot, after which the seriously injured person was taken by the rescue service to the state hospital in Feldkirch.

The car had to be secured with seat belts
The wreckage of the young man was secured by the fire brigade with straps. However, it was not restored until Friday. The fire brigades Dünserberg, Düns and Frastanz were deployed with a total of 45 men and six vehicles. In addition, the emergency doctor, ten paramedics and the police were on site with three men.
