A tragic accident happened on the S4 near Klatzersdorf in Lower Austria on Monday morning: two people were killed in an accident on the Mattersburg motorway. The S4 is currently locked.
According to police spokesman Stefan Loidl, the accident happened shortly before 8 a.m. in an oncoming traffic area. According to initial information from FF Wiener Neustadt, there was a head-on collision between a truck and a car. Two people died and four others were injured, “NÖN” reports.
The Red Cross and the Samaritan Association are on site with eight ambulances. An ambulance helicopter is also at the scene of the accident.
