After weeks of speculation, the current US president has confirmed his intention to run for his second term, which he would do at the age of 82.
The 80-year-old president of the United States, Joe Biden, announced this on Tuesday will run again in the elections in 2024, after he himself stated his intention to seek a second term. “We are going to finish the job,” he announced.
Biden has chosen this day of April 25 to make his intentions official, since just now today it is four years ago since he launched the election campaign that led him to the White House after defeating the then president donald trump (2017-2020) in the 2020 elections.
The poster accompanying the announcement also features the current Vice President, Camala Harriswho is expected to repeat as “number two” in the Democratic Party’s campaign for the November 2024 election. If ultimately elected to a second term, I would start at 82 years old.
