After a five-year-old girl was found dead in France, the grieving mother is now demanding clarification. “I want justice,” said the woman of Romanian descent on Wednesday in the Vosges town of Rambervillers. A 16-year-old teenager was arrested Tuesday in connection with the crime.
“It is rumored that he was still in a mental hospital two weeks ago. What was the reason they released him?” said the victim’s mother in tears, “He ruined my life (…) he took my little princess from me.”

The teenager was in the apartment where the girl’s body was found in a garbage bag. According to Mayor Jean-Pierre Michel, the youngster was known to authorities for “acts related to the sexual abuse of young children”.
Child played in front of parent’s house
The parents had previously reported their daughter missing shortly before she was found in the apartment. She had played in front of her parents’ house. According to the newspaper Le Republicain Lorrain, the body was found about a hundred meters from the girl’s home.
