The controversial Linz restaurateur ignored the corona rules and opened her bath cafe despite the imposed lockdown. The restaurant is now apparently on the verge of collapse.
The finish matches the look. Alexandra Pervulesko, who became known as the “anger landlady”, announces on social networks: “Badcafe: Goodbye”. At the end of April there should be a “goodbye” to her restaurant in Linz. Will she now permanently lock her dining room, which was even open during the Corona lockdown?
“I don’t want to say anything about that,” Pervulesko tells the “Krone”. A little later she adds on her online profile: “I have NOTHING to add to that. Sincerely, anger host, brave host, corona denier and many more.”
Landlady had to go to jail
It could be the final chapter of a polarizing story. In January 2021, all of Austria was in lockdown – except for the “anger landlady”. She unlocked her Badcafe in the middle of the Corona shutdown. Her reasoning at the time: the Covid restrictions would rob her of existence. The local operator received an administrative fine of 5,000 euros for the action. Because she did not pay, the restorer had to serve an alternative prison sentence. Pervulesko was held for a few days.
60,000 euros in corona aid
The landlady never made a secret of her rejection of the Corona regulations. According to her own statements, she was punished 20 times for not wearing a mask. The weekly demos ended at their bar. None of this prevented the “rage landlady” from applying for the Corona subsidies she was legally entitled to as a bar operator. She would have received about 60,000 euros in government subsidies.
