According to the authorities, at least two people were shot in an attack on firefighters in the state of Idaho in the northwest of the United States. The emergency services were fighting a fire when they were ambushed, it said on Sunday.
The authorities then found the perception of the alleged shooter. “After provisional information, we assume that he was the only shooter,” confirmed the Sheriff of Kootai County, Richard Norris, on Sunday evening (local time). There is no danger for the population anymore.
Shooting longer change
Earlier, the CBS broadcaster, with reference to the Federal Police FBI, reported that it was on its way to offer “tactical and operational support”. Sheriff Norris explained that the shot with the shooter went on for longer and the fire raged on the mountain in Kootai County. The residents were asked not to leave their place of residence until the attack ended.
The area around the Canfield Mountain is a popular nature reserve near Coeur d’Allene, about 420 km east of Seattle.
