Three students did it very colorfully in an apartment in Innsbruck – until the mood changed. Afterwards, the popular “fun fights” of two women came to be seen in a different light, a 25-year-old was charged.
Do ambitious medical students from Innsbruck really tick like pubescent teenagers? This question was raised in a sexual harassment and coercion lawsuit before the regional court. A 25-year-old had sought out two roommates and initially the chemistry was good. “I promised card games and excursions together. But later I did more with other circles of friends,” said the now defendant. Was there therefore a mood swing with consequences?
Teasing fights are the order of the day
So-called “fun fights” in the three-person shared flat were his downfall – attacks with ice cubes, floor slaps with a wooden spoon, teasing scuffles and even bruises. “All this had no sexual background, it was like siblings,” the 25-year-old insisted. However, highly detailed sexual topics were exchanged in chats.
The announcement followed the farewell
When the suspect got into a fight with the young women and he said goodbye to the apartment part, he suddenly had the criminal process on his hands. You could have ruined the whole career! The experienced sex judge Nobert Hofer finally summed it up: “I miss in all chats that the women would have said stop once.” On the contrary: the women continued to make sexual innuendos. Why they did not raise the alarm sooner in view of the alleged attacks remained unclear. The 25-year-old had already been legally acquitted.
