The death toll from the bombings carried out by the Russian army at various points in Ukraine in the early hours of this Friday has risen to 24, including 22 killed by a rocket that hit a residential building in the town of Uman, in the Cherkasy region (center).
According to Cherkasy Governor Igor Taburets, the emergency services, which are still continuing the rescue efforts, have found the remains of five other people among the rubble of several buildings destroyed by Russian missiles.
Taburets released a message on his official account of the Telegram social network expressing regret for the “terrible tragedy” that took place in Cherkasy, and declared a three-day period of official mourning across the region.

Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky has denounced “another night of terror” with “missiles and drones”. “There are ten damaged residential buildings in Uman.
