Dangerous mission for several volunteer fire brigades in Ausserfern (Tyrol): Saturday night they had to avoid a fire in a tool shed in Bach. The investigation into the cause of the fire will continue on Sunday.
Around 9.50 pm the sirens wail in Bach. A fire broke out in a tool shed in the immediate vicinity of a residential building for unknown reasons. The volunteer fire brigades of Bach, Stockach, Elbigenalp and Häselgehr arrived on site and were able to prevent the fire from spreading to the residential building. Shortly after 11 p.m., “fire out” was finally reported. Fortunately no one was injured.
The investigations continue
The heat and smoke caused property damage in an undisclosed amount. In total, about 110 volunteer fire brigades were deployed. The investigation into the cause of the fire will continue on Sunday.
