Russian authorities have denounced that at least two civilians were killed as a result of a Ukrainian bombing in the Briansk region, in southwestern Russia, about 100 kilometers from the border with Ukraine. Regional governor Alexander Bogomaz announced the two deaths on his Telegram account, where he also indicated that the Ukrainian attack caused significant property damage in civilian areas. “According to preliminary data, one residential building was completely destroyed, two more houses were partially destroyed. The operational services will continue to work on site,” he said on his Telegram channel, without giving further details for now. That same Sunday, Bogomaz had already reported at least one person injured in a Ukrainian bombing raid on the city of Suzemka, ten kilometers from the border.
