One dead and three injured in a Russian attack in the Ukrainian region of Kherson, the head of the region’s military administration said Monday. Russia launched a new wave of missiles against Ukrainian cities early Monday morning, much of which Kiev’s armed forces say shot down. “The Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with their strategic aviation,” which fired “18 cruise missiles” but managed to destroy 15, Ukrainian sources report. “The Russian army attacked residential areas in densely populated areas of the region and the construction of a state institution in the center of Kherson,” Oleksander Prokudin, head of the military administration, told Telegram. “Following this Russian aggression, one person died and three others, including a child, were injured,” he said, noting that the city had been bombed eight times in the past 24 hours. Also in the Dnipropetrovsk region, a Russian attack left at least 25 injured, three of them minors, said Serhiy Lysak, a regional government official. In the town of Pavlohrad, “19 multi-storey buildings, 25 houses, six schools and kindergartens and five shops were damaged,” he explained.
