Violent scenes broke out in Vienna-Donaustadt in mid-March. Four previously unknown youths followed a 36-year-old from the subway and attacked him with punches and kicks. The reason for the attack: his football fan scarf and his fan hood.
The incident took place on March 13 around 9:00 PM in Kagran. The boy’s attack began with verbal abuse about his clothing and ended with serious injuries to his elbows, hands and head.
Fled from the crime scene
Shortly afterwards, all four fled and the 36-year-old immediately alerted the police. Fortunately, photos of the four alleged perpetrators in the U1 could be secured. Police are asking for information from the public.

Another case of grievous bodily injury only took place on Sunday afternoon in Vienna-Favoriten. A 12-year-old was beaten to hospitalization in Oberlaa metro station by members of a youth gang.
The gang demanded money from the girl. When the 12-year-old refused to give up her valuables, police said the attackers beat and kicked her and stole the money. The girl suffered serious head and facial injuries and was taken to hospital after receiving emergency medical care.
Victim knew two suspects
However, the victim knew two of the youths (both 13) and reported them to the police. So that they could be found quickly. The two girls denied the crime. They were then handed over to their legal guardians. The investigation into the other parties involved is still ongoing.
