Several police patrols left Klagenfurt on Friday evening. A previously unknown man had attacked a casino in the city center and threatened an employee there.
“Shortly before midnight, a previously unknown perpetrator armed with a knife attacked a casino in Klagenfurt. The perpetrator asked the employee to open the cash register and was able to rob an unknown amount of money,” the police said.
Man with a foreign accent
Although the police patrols arrived a few minutes after the alarm, the perpetrator managed to escape. An immediate local search has so far been negative. “The man wore a balaclava, spoke with a foreign accent and was dressed in a black hooded jacket, blue jeans and dark shoes. No one was injured.”
Police are looking for possible witnesses to provide relevant information.
