Sing wrong and loud – Kronehit’s curious holiday on May 7

Date:

May 7 is the day: Kronehit, Austria’s largest private radio station, invites you to the first “Sing loud and wrong” day. On this day, all music lovers can raise their voices regardless of the right tones or melodies.

The idea for this unusual holiday came about as part of a Kronehit campaign. The radio station was looking for the strangest holiday that did not yet exist. The listeners were invited to submit their ideas. There were some interesting suggestions, such as the “Day of the friendly drivers” and the “There is more Gschmust” day, but in the end the “Sing loud and wrong” day won the vote.

The new holiday aims to promote singing and making music together – without the pressure of having to be perfect. It’s all about fun and community. Because as the saying goes: “Whoever sings cannot be angry!”

Kronehit has planned a varied program for this special day, in which listeners can sing and party together. The entire community is invited to join Sing Out Loud and Wrong Day and unleash your singing skills. It doesn’t matter if you sing alone, with friends or family – the most important thing is that you have fun!
