That almost sounds like a tournament from the Middle Ages: two young participants in a motorcycle meeting in Eberstalzell must have driven straight into each other on their motorcycles. In any case, they collided head-on and both were seriously injured.
About 20 young motorcyclists gathered in a parking lot in Eberstalzell on Sunday to perform various motorcycle stunts. These meetings take place almost weekly. A 23-year-old from the Urfahr-Surroundings district was riding his motorcycle in the parking lot in an easterly direction. At the same time, a 21-year-old from the Vöcklabruck district steered his motorcycle in the opposite direction.
According to witnesses, he rode on the back wheel
According to witnesses, the 21-year-old rode partially on the rear wheel. For unknown reasons, both motorcyclists immediately collided head-on. They fell and were seriously injured on the ground.
The other motorcyclists immediately rushed to the scene of the accident and administered first aid. Following emergency medical care of the seriously injured, the 21-year-old was taken by rescue helicopter to Kepler University Hospital and the 23-year-old to Wels Clinic.
